Job description

You are:

• An M.E. / M. Tech / Dual Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Mechanical Design / Applied Mechanics / Manufacturing Precision Engineering with minimum 65% aggregate

• Graduating in 2023 without any backlogs

Your Typical Day:

• Design and Development of complex Mechanical components and sub-systems
• Analyze design through simulations and hand calculations
• Validate design by defining test plans, making prototypes, developing test equipment, and performing testing.
• Collaborate with Cross Functional Teams for review, approval and release
• Participate actively in Idea generation forums and contribute to innovative solutions
• Understand Lam products, Business processes and Standards

You need to know:

• Application of Strength of materials, Theory of Machines, Heat and Mass transfer and Fluid flow principles to solve Engineering problems

• Knowledge of various Materials and their applications

• Knowledge of machining, welding, molding, sheet-metal fabrication casting processes

• Hands-on projects that include prototyping and assembly

Nice to know:

• Advanced manufacturing methods - Additive Manufacturing and 3D printing, Water jet machining, Ceramic manufacturing

• Experience with 3D Modelling, Assembly using any CAD package

• Use of simulation tools such as Ansys, Nastran, Creo Simulate etc.
