Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Pre-Sales Consultant to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the sales team providing technical expertise and assisting with the development and delivery of
engaging proposals, presentations, and demonstrations. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong desire to learn and contribute to a dynamic and successful team.
Responsibilities: - Assist the sales team in preparing proposals and presentations.
- Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations to potential customers.
- Gather feedback from potential customers and communicate it to the sales team.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends and product developments, especially in the world of Data & Analytics.
- Participate in sales meetings and contribute to the development of sales strategies for successful conversion.
- Support the sales team in closing deals.
Requirements
Qualifications: - Minimum Bachelors s degree in Engineering or Master of Computer Application.
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience in Data and BI.
- Strong understanding of technology trends and emerging solutions relevant to the industry.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Highly motivated and self-directed with a strong work ethic.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with CRM systems (a plus).
Technical Capabilities: - Experience in Azure PaaS Services, i.e. Data Factory, Synapse, Fabric, Data bricks etc.
- Good knowledge & hands-on experience in Spark with Python (2+ years).
- 2+ years in Power BI, should be well versed with concepts of building Dashboards/Reporting.
- Must have worked in Pre Sales Solutioning.
- Should know how to perform project estimation and figure out implementation timeline.
- Good to have development experience using big data frameworks/Hadoop stack such as HBase, Yarn, HDFS, Hive, and Presto.
- Relevant experience with ETL methods and with retrieving data from dimensional data models and data warehouses.
- Experience using NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, HBase, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Elastic Search.
- Experience with stream-processing systems: Storm, Spark-Streaming, etc.
- Experience with Databases and SQLs.
- Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets and building processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, workload management etc.
- Good to know : Data Governance, Data Quality, MDM, Lineage, Data Catalog, etc.
- Should have working knowledge on data and cloud warehousing.
- A successful history of manipulating, processing and extracting value from large, disconnected datasets.
- Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
- Strong understanding of Cloud Migration processes, methods and project lifecycle.
- Good communication, problem solving and presentation skills.
