As a Specialist AE within the Cloud Specialist team, your focus will be on the Heroku product, a market leading PaaS. You will formulate and execute a Heroku sales strategy within your specific market segment, drive revenue growth by driving demand in the current customer base, and develop new customers. You will use your skills to develop opportunities, through both warm leads and whitespace prospecting.
You will work in partnership with the existing Account owners and will carry quota for the Heroku product sales. As a trusted adviser and coach, you are the person with the expertise in Business and Technology Architecture that can match customer needs to the capabilities of the Salesforce Heroku products. You will articulate the business value of the solutions through executive-level time-to-value, ROI and TCO presentations.

You will collaborate with customers to evangelize Heroku solutions that will help them reach their business goals and blaze new trails within their organizations.

Responsibilities:
Develop key customer stakeholder relationships and drive customer satisfaction at assigned accounts
Develop and drive the overall long-term strategy for the account, aligned to customer business objectives
Coordinate internal Salesforce resources to meet customer business needs
Perform account planning at assigned accounts, coordinating with Prime and Cloud sales resources to ensure strategic alignment
Share Salesforce value proposition for existing and/or new customers
Drive growth within an existing assigned account
Required Skills/Experience:
Minimum 10 years plus of experience with full cycle sales familiarity
Ability to strategize with a large extended team
Solid understanding of PaaS solutions with relevant background in Software / Saas Solution selling to the above mentioned Industry verticals will be an added advantage.
Minimum 10 years plus of experience with selling technology solutions
Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles.Prospecting Skills Consultative/Solution focused selling experience
Strong background selling software/SaaS with outstanding quota attainment history and track record
Desired Skills / Experience:
Objection Handling Skills, Discovery Skills, Planning and Closing Skills
Consistent overachievement of goals
Good written, verbal, and presentation skills
Be creative with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
Background working with a CRM system
