Job description
We are currently hiring for a Product startup. Job Description :Qualifications :- 5+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer.- Understanding of web, mobile, API testing technologies.- Experience in Manual testing, Functional testing, Regression testing.- Hands-on experience with web automation testing framework and best practices(Selenium, BDD, API, java).- Experience in Mobile automation testing, framework development for iOS/ Android applications.- Should be able to implement, maintain and improve test automation frameworks.- Good knowledge of database concepts (such as MongoDB) - Hands on experience and strong at core Java.- Good understanding of version control systems like git.- Solid experience of test case management, code coverage, and defect management (bug databases) tools, test scheduling, test resource management, test run analysis, and regression environments.- Experience in Test Engineering for distributed applications with service-oriented architecture and event based processing.- Experience in non-functional testing types like API testing using postman or other tools, UI Testing along with any other automation tool is a big plus.- Experience in an Agile development environment is good to have.Key Responsibilities :- Document and perform manual test cases.- Develop automated test suites.- Actively work with development and infrastructure teams for integrating test automation as an integral part of the Continuous delivery pipeline.- Responsible for tracking and logging defects during execution.- Has understood and adopted effective techniques of parallel testing in an agile product development environment.- Document lessons learned, help maintain a knowledge database.- Use your knowledge of testing and testability to influence better software design, promote best engineering practices, bug prevention strategies, testability, and other quality attributes across products.- Should be able to work in close collaboration with Product Management and Product Engineering teams.- Should be able to carry out healthy and constructive criticism with team members, peers and managers for the benefit of the Product.Benefits :- Competitive compensation.- Health and wellness benefits, Catered team lunches.- Flat, friendly and open culture.- Challenging and engaging work enabling you to define your career path here.
