Job Location for Consultant/Senior Consultant - Mumbai/Gurgaon/ Hyderabad/Bangalore/Chennai/Kolkata Candidate should be fine with 20 days business travel every Month. Job Description : – Operations (Advisory – Management Consulting) Qualifications · BE/ B Tech and MBA · BE/ B Tech preferred in manufacturing domains (Mechanical, Production, Electrical, Chemical, Textiles, Ceramics, Materials, etc.) or Computer Science · Post-graduates in Statistics, Data Sciences/ Analytics from leading institution with relevant domain experience could be considered Work Experience · Overall experience of 3 to 10 years · Mix of industry and consulting or only consulting experience would be ideal · Candidates with experience only in the industry would need to demonstrate experience in running improvement projects/ special or consulting projects and cross-disciplinary exposure for a significant portion of their stint. Such candidates will typically be part of leadership development programs or from the internal strategy/ operational improvement teams Competency and Domain Requirements Candidate should have excellent program/ project management, communications, analytical, relationship development (particularly with senior industry leaders), change management and team management skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in two or more of the following areas: · Operations Strategy: o Operating model design and implementation o Strategy for Global Business services for Operations (non-finance functions) o Manufacturing strategy formulation and implementation · Operations: o Operations excellence (includes Asset optimization, Quality management, Lean process design/ process re-engineering) o Managed services in Operations (running plant operations, procurement, supply chain function, etc.) o Manpower optimization for both white & blue collar · Transformation: o Business turnaround for loss making businesses o End to end Transformation program – EBITDA improvement, conversion cost reduction, procurement cost reduction, manpower cost reduction, product portfolio rationalization, change management o Digital operations transformation – use of emerging technologies in manufacturing such as IoT/ sensors, Analytics, AI/ ML for operational improvement · New facility set up & Diligence: o Conceptualizing and setting-up green field and brown field manufacturing facilities and Operations system design o Operational/ Technical Due Diligence and post deal value creationJob tags
