Job Title: Key Account Manager - Individual Contributor

Overview: As a Key Account Manager in this individual contributor role, you will be responsible for managing a substantial portfolio of key accounts, fostering strong relationships, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated professional with excellent communication skills, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record of successfully managing a large number of accounts independently.

Key Responsibilities: Reporting: Be able to assimilate, present and discuss data on KAM metrics with internal stakeholders and clients Be able to present WBRs, MBR and QBRs with data insights and analysis with a view to making the business deliverables standout, callout challenges and approaches taken to unblock the same

Account Management: Oversee and nurture a diverse portfolio of key accounts, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty. Develop a deep understanding of each customer's business needs, challenges, and goals.

Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders within each account. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, demonstrating responsiveness and reliability.

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve growth and exceed revenue targets. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within the existing account base.

Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to address customer needs and deliver value. Communicate account updates, progress, and challenges regularly to the leadership team.

Problem Resolution: Proactively identify and address issues, concerns, or challenges faced by key accounts. Work collaboratively to find solutions and ensure a positive customer experience.

Market and Competitor Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to provide informed insights and recommendations.

Reporting and Analysis: Utilize data and analytics to track account performance, measure key metrics, and generate reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus. Proven experience in key account management, preferably in a B2B environment. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle a large number of accounts effectively. Results-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
