Regional Credit Manager – Wholesale Banking Job Description

· Managing a team of Credit Analysts (CA) · Prioritizing of proposals in consultation with business team and helping in structuring. · Guiding the team of Credit Analysts on underwriting quality notes and effective monitoring, assisting them in formulating credit recommendation. · Active involvement in client meetings to understand their business model and risk management policies. · Vetting of Credit Appraisal Notes prepared by Credit Analysts. · Representing the Credit perspective on risk assessment, structuring during discussion of proposal / transactions with Senior management. · Ensuring that loans adhere to program, compliance, due diligence and industry requirements. · Closely monitoring the portfolio along with credit analysts and escalate with action plan on non-compliances and EWS. · Escalate with action plan for non-compliances · Co-ordinating with internal auditors and make representations to RBI for resolving queries raised by them in RBI audits

Job Requirement: · CA / MBA with at least 10-12 yrs in Credit underwriting in Wholesale Banking Vertical · Good understanding of Accounting Standards, Balance Sheet Analysis. · Knowledge of RBI regulations, SEBI and other statutory bodies requirements. · Good interaction and communication ability. · Excellent verbal, written communication & presentation skills.
