About IHRPTM program:
Integrated High-Risk Pregnancy Tracking and Management Program (IHRPTM) is one of the key programs of the organisation. The program, first (2021) initiated in Telangana, has been expanded to Andhra Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh states, by 2023, and is implemented in partnership with respective state governments. Created algorithmic color-coded, detailed (yet simple) protocols for end-to-end management of high-risk pregnancies (HRPs) for every level of primary care and the referral system [namely, ANMs, medical officers (MOs) and specialists]. Training public health functionaries, handhold them through a dual-purpose ''Learning app'' (with multimedia content), a ''Tracking app'' (for long-term handholding through WhatsApp support and end-to-end tracking of the HRPs), etc., are key interventions.

Role Overview
We are looking for someone who can deliver high impact and sustained results; strengthen equity & empowerment focused research; and deliver excellence in analysing and documenting program results. Work mainly in IHRPTM program towards enhancement of data collection & analysis in program geographies. Assist the organisation in evaluating the impact of digital interventions and support the team with knowledge dissemination.

This role would provide much needed support to IHRPTM-research in terms of: analysing & documenting huge community survey data in Telangana, initiate studies to quickly evaluate impact of IHRPTM program in Uttar Pradesh. Provide necessary support to plan pending studies in Telangana. Also support team to conduct situational assessment study of referrals in Andhra Pradesh.

Roles and Responsibilities
Conduct qualitative and quantitative research studies to understand unique healthcare needs and challenges faced by pregnant women with high-risk conditions

Familiarity with research methodologies, survey design, and data management including: developing study protocols, preparing data collection tools, developing quality assurance plans, obtaining ethical clearances, execute proposed studies at facility & community levels, etc.

Data monitoring skills to periodically update data needs of dashboards that reflect the reach of program, engagement with stakeholders, and outcomes of program interventions.

Document entire process of knowledge management w.r.t synthesis & analysis of data using appropriate analytical procedures, writing project reports, and designing presentations for dissemination of findings with stakeholders – by highlighting learnings from research studies.

Facilitate sharing of research findings, lessons learned, and best practices with all concerned stakeholders and the wider healthcare community.

Contribute to the preparation of papers in peer reviewed journals, and material for knowledge dissemination.

Ability to work and adapt professionally and effectively in a challenging environment.

Self-motivated, ability to work with minimum supervision; ability to work with tight deadlines.

Qualification & Skills:
Strong written and oral communication skills for creating clear and compelling reports and presentations. Ability to document processes and findings accurately and effectively.

Masters in a relevant field, such as public health, demography, social sciences, or research-related disciplines with 10-15 years of experience in public health preferably in the area of maternal and child health. PhD in social sciences or allied disciplines is desirable. Experience of working with vulnerable/marginalized will be an added advantage

Knowledge of statistical software (SPSS, STATA, DevInfo, etc) and qualitative data analysis software (Atlas-Ti, NVivo, etc) an advantage

Proven record of analysing data for technical reports and drafting papers in peer-reviewed journals.

Familiarity with development and execution of tech-based/m-health-based intervention programmes would be an asset

Fluency in English is mandatory. Working knowledge of Telugu and/or Hindi languages is desirable.
