Job description
The T24 Migration Consultant plays a crucial role in assisting financial institutions with migrating their data and systems to the Temenos T24 core banking platform. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in T24 and data migration processes, along with strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities: · Participate in all stages of the T24 data migration project, including planning, execution, and post-go-live support. ·Collaborate with business analysts and SMEs to understand data requirements and mapping needs. ·Design, develop, and implement data migration strategies and methodologies. ·Utilize data profiling, cleansing, transformation, and loading techniques to ensure data integrity throughout the migration process. ·Configure and test T24 system settings to ensure accurate data migration. ·Identify and resolve data migration issues and inconsistencies. ·Prepare migration documentation, reports, and presentations. ·Train end-users on the new T24 system and migration outcomes. Qualifications: ·Proven experience in T24 data migration projects (3+ years) ·In-depth knowledge of T24 data model, system functionalities, and configuration. ·Strong understanding of data migration methodologies, tools, and best practices. ·Experience with data profiling, cleansing, transformation, and loading techniques. ·Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. ·Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. ·Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Migration Testing / Optimization: ·Fine tune the scripts that are created for performance and identify the attributes necessary for the implementation run. Attributes should include things such as script run order, script run time expectations, identification of risk points during the run, etc. ·Provide the testing process, including the test plan, test cases, test scenarios and expected results for the migration from the staging database to the new core banking database. ·Produce a data mapping schema for all the data sources being used to load the staging database, and revise that schema as required throughout the design and testing phases. Additional desirable skills: ·Experience with Temenos migration tools and frameworks. ·Experience with T24 development languages (e.g., TAFJ, InfoBasic). ·Experience working in the financial services industry. ·Project management and organizational skills.Job tags
