Digital Accessibility Manager (C) Location

: Bangalore

You will report to the Digital Accessibility Lead and be responsible for supporting the implementation of our accessibility strategy. You will ensure that technology solutions enabling people to work are accessible to all and that individual technology accessibility needs are met (such as screen reading software).

Key Responsibilities Advise technology projects in defining accessibility requirements, scope, and approach as part of the firm’s wider technology creation and approval process. Support various teams in designing accessible technology solutions and remediating accessibility issues in existing solutions. Support individuals and teams with queries related to assistive technology. Engage with vendors, project managers, and other stakeholders to communicate the value of accessibility and ensure it is considered in all our technology.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Essential Knowledge of and experience applying Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2. Experience using and testing with assistive technology such as JAWS, NVDA, Dragon, ZoomText, and Windows native accessibility features. Knowledge of how accessibility is implemented in HTML and CSS, including knowledge of ARIA. Good oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Comfortable working with ambiguity at the beginning of projects, with ability to provide clarity of direction despite this. Test technology solutions against WCAG 2.2 criteria and articulate impact of any shortcomings to technology teams.

Desirable An interest in and knowledge of the accessible technology market and trends. Experience engaging with stakeholders globally. Experience supporting accessibility within the following technologies: PowerBI, Power Apps, Appian, ServiceNow, and SAP.

Experience -

The candidate must have 10+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.
