. Gathering and Prioritizing Requirements:
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, internal teams, and subject matter experts, to collect and prioritize product requirements.
- Develop user stories, establish acceptance criteria, and manage the product backlog.
- Prioritize the product backlog to align with customer commitments and the product roadmap, adhering to project, contractual, and investment obligations.
- Assist the Strategic Product Manager in continuously refining the roadmap based on feedback, market dynamics, and business priorities.

. Agile Development:
- Function as an integral part of the extended product and development team within an Agile/Scrum framework.
- Provide clear and concise requirements, address uncertainties, and ensure a shared understanding of product objectives, features, and success criteria among team members.
- Define sprint goals and acceptance criteria, and if necessary, draft acceptance tests.
- Serve as the customer's representative, conveying customer needs and desired outcomes to the development team, and clarifying business requirements with both customers and project teams.
- Ensure that sprint planning and backlog grooming align with business priorities and budgets. Collaborate with Portfolio Delivery Management to escalate and promptly communicate delivery and scheduling issues.

. Product Development Oversight:
- Act as a vital link between business stakeholders, development teams, and other internal departments.
- Oversee the efficient execution of the product development lifecycle, managing timelines, resources, and deliverables.

. User Experience (UX) Design:
- Collaborate closely with UX and UI designers to craft intuitive and user-friendly product experiences.
- Provide guidance on usability, interaction design, and visual aesthetics to ensure exceptional user experiences.

. Product Launch and Go-to-Market Strategy:
- Assist in the creation of product documentation, training materials, and sales enablement materials.
- Stay updated on industry trends.

. User Feedback and Iteration:
- Collect user feedback and insights through various channels, such as user testing, surveys, and analytics.
- Utilize this feedback to drive iterative product enhancements, improve usability, and optimize product performance.

. Product Performance Monitoring:
- Define and monitor key product metrics to evaluate product performance and success.
- Analyze data and make data-driven decisions to continuously improve and meet business and delivery objectives.

. Quality and Non-Functional:
- Collaborate with the QA function to establish a common understanding of the product and changes, define success criteria, and support the QA function in creating a rigorous testing strategy for the product.
- Assess and measure the quality of the product and collaborate on enhancing quality processes.
- Ensure a thorough understanding, approval, and explicit requirement capture of internal and customer Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) and their delivery.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external security policies for the product.

The Successful Applicant

. Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering.

. Certifications such as Scrum Alliance's Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Scrum.org's Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), or similar

. Previous experience in roles related to product management, business analysis, or a closely related field is preferred. Demonstrated experience in software development and collaborating with organizations that deliver mission-critical, high-volume, product-centric features to diverse customer bases is highly desirable.

. Familiarity with the educational sector, particularly in areas related to learning and assessment, would be considered an advantageous attribute.
