Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented BIM Automation Specialist – Electrical Services for our Building Services Department, who is eager to continuously engage, can understand the changing environment of the construction and engineering industry as it taps into the digital/virtual world. Has a good understanding of digital technology, BIM and their added value.

In this exciting position you are participating in the development of the national (and international) market for digital innovations, in the field of design/construction 4.0, BIM and more. You bring in your experience from an equivalent position. You can and should bring your own ideas - proactivity is encouraged.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•Understand and advise on the MEP (Mechanical Electrical Plumbing) challenges and Electrical Engineering solutions (HV/MV, LV, ELV, AV, BMS, BTS, etc.)
•Works on multiple BIM Automation and Digital Innovation projects from initiation to completion.
•Communicate with Digital/BIM and Project stakeholders, including IT stakeholders.
•Use of interactive technology and collaboration tools to translate design, produce training and develop UX experiences.
•Interact with users to understand business processes and gather user requirements comprehensively.
•Drafting/reviewing systems specifications, adhering to functional requirements.
•Conducting comprehensive systems testing to ensure bug-free programs.
•Liaising and communicating the agreed requirements to outsourcers.
•Prepare Digital project specific Technical Requirement Specs.
•Perform Coding / Testing / Implementation.
•Prepare and/or review Approved Test Plan/ Test Specs Perform Quality Review for Implementations.
•Prepare Training Material and conduct User training.
•Resolve rollout issues, providing swift resolutions to problems.
•Manage the development of the software developed by a software partner.
•Resolve Interface issues between the different used Platforms,
•Support in ensuring reliability and maintainability of an enterprise software solution.
•Explore innovative technologies and evaluate their relevance.
•Conceptualize the usage of modern technology and adapt to enhance its product value.

What You'll Need  
•Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering and Electronics.
•5+ years of AEC experience/background as Electrical Engineer or Designer and BIM modeling experience.
•Mathematical and analytical skills, knowledge of construction materials.
•Knowledge of BIM best practices.
•Proven Expert level proficiency with Dynamo.
•Mandatory proficiency on Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Navisworks (Rhino, Autodesk Civil 3D would be of advantage).
•Mandatory proficiency with Common Data Environments (e.g., Autodesk BIM360).
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 tools (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Teams, and MS Project).
•Proficiency with MS SharePoint and ACONEX platforms.
•Clean-Code oriented.
•Analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and a customer and solution-oriented mindset
•Excellent understanding of Autodesk and Microsoft technologies and how the company/clients can derive value from their investment
•Good understanding of functional and process design and requirements plus ability to translate business / functional requirements into technical solutions
•Ability to learn new languages and technologies.
•Attention to detail and Excellent communication skills with ability to report in a structured manner.
•Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude.
•Passion for enabling others to do more.

Any of the following will be considered as added value:
•Proficiency with Python scripting
•Proficiency with Autodesk Forge or any Revit API development
•Experience in Power Apps or Power Automate Low-Code/No-Code platforms.
•Proficiency on Business Intelligence solutions like Power BI.
•Experience in Point Cloud, UAV LiDAR and UAV imagery is highly desirable.
•Good understanding of UI/UX methods and when to apply them effectively.
•Familiarity with various project management methodologies such as Agile, Lean
•Any experience on Smart City/Services, Process Improvement/Mining, Augmented Reality (AR)/Virtual Reality (VR), Smart Contracts, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, etc.
•Hands-on experience in software development using any of the following: C#, C++, Java, .NET, JavaScript frameworks and deployment to Cloud platform/services.

•Experience in implementing/managing applications to public cloud (Azure).
•Database experience such as NoSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.
•Experience working within a multinational working environment would be beneficial.
•Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
•Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and solve problems.

Online Tests could be conducted before or after the interviews.

The interview-shortlisted candidate will be required to prepare a PowerPoint Presentation (or any other Digital format) which shall include what he/she has 
developed/managed in the past and what it can bring to the Company.
