Job Summary:

The PPC professional will be responsible for planning and controlling production activities to meet customer demands efficiently. They develop production plans, analyze capacity constraints, and create feasible schedules. Monitoring production progress, resolving issues, and ensuring timely delivery are crucial aspects of the role. Effective communication, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and collaboration with stakeholders are essential for successful coordination and alignment of production plans.

Job Location: Pirana, Ahmedabad

Responsibilities:

• Create production plans based on demand forecasts, considering available resources, capacity, and lead times.
• Prepare a detailed production schedule, considering factors such as production capacity, material availability, and production lead times.
• Monitor and track daily production progress, ensuring adherence to the production schedule.
• Communicate with Inventory Control, to coordinate material procurement and ensure availability of required inventory levels.
• Identifying and resolving any deviations or issues that may arise during the production process to minimize disruptions and maintain on-time delivery.
• Generate reports and analyse production data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
• Work order & PR Analysis & Release the Job order as per priority
• Collaborate with the Quality Control department to address any production-related quality issues.
• Utilize the Oracle ERP system to update production data, maintain accurate records, and generate relevant reports.
• Initiate process improvement initiatives and drive continuous improvement efforts within the concerned department

Qualification & Experience

• BE/Btech in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience required in Production Planning Control

Technical Acumen:

• Excel
• SAP/ERP (Oracle would be an added advantage )
