• Sec uring the qualitative, on-time and economical processing of the operational business in the Ocean & Air Freight division  
• Sec uring and implementing the strategic orientation in cooperation with the AIT / Air & Ocean Freight management team  
• Sec uring and further development of the operational business, the range of services, processes, and procedures  
• Target-oriented management and coordination of subordinate employees in terms of personnel and expertise  
• Continuous process cost optimization and realization of process cost savings in the region  

• Optimization and further development of the operational business, services, processes, and procedures in the region  
• Sec uring a high level of customer satisfaction , while complying with customer-specific processes, procedures, and specifications  
• Developing and monitoring the Air & Ocean Freight budget and ensuring that it is adhered to  
• Analysis of process costs, definition as well as implementation of measures and realization of process cost savings  
• Management and coordination of teammates in terms of perso nal and technical matters  
• Recruitment, assessment, training , and further development of employees  
• Management, organization, and further development of the operational business , the processes, and procedures of the Air/ Ocean Freight India  
• Ensuring continuous improvement of processes and business procedures and realization of cost savings  
• Ensuring and further developing the operational business in the region 
• Cross-divisional cooperation to improve international collaboration and the overall optimization of processes and systems  
• Identification of growth and optimization potential and implementation of the resulting measures and activities  
• Ensuring professional cooperation with customers, business partners and service providers  
• Support and consulting of customers and agents as well as further development of business relations  
• Acquisition of new customers in consultation with the VP - India and Sales Team
• Supporting Sales in the maintenance and further development of key accounts through continuous coordination and development of the interfaces between Operations and Sales 
• Ensuring quick and smooth processing of customer complaints, analysis to avoid complaints   
• Monitoring and continuous improvement of KPI's of operational controlling  
• Ensuring and maintaining the interface with Sales  
• Preparation of the budget and ensuring compliance with the budget for the area of responsibility  
• Analysis, optimization and documentation of existing administrative and operational processes

• Strong problem-solving technique s and organizational skills
