Night Shift
Responsibilities: • Design, install, configure, and manage physical and virtual server environments for both internal and client projects
• Administer and support core Microsoft, Cisco, and VMware technologies
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Azure services, including Azure AD, ensuring optimal performance and security
• Implement and manage disaster recovery and backup solutions
• Monitor system performance and capacity planning
• Provide technical support and guidance on network design, security, and optimization
• Develop automation scripts to efficiently deploy and manage cloud resources and server configurations
• Work closely with IT project managers and other team members to meet deadlines and reach project goals
• Stay current with new technology options and vendor products, recommending modifications and upgrades as appropriate
Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in server systems engineering or related roles
• Strong experience with cloud services, particularly Azure, including Azure AD, and familiarity with AWS or Google Cloud Platform is a plus
• Proven experience with server virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, etc.
• Knowledge of Windows Server and Linux operating systems
• Familiarity with scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash)
• Certifications in Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, or similar technologies are highly desirable
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical colleagues and clients
