Network Engineer

Job description

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced network engineer to join our team
• The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our computer networks
• They will work closely with other IT professionals to ensure that our networks are secure, reliable, and efficient
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking technologies, as well as experience with network security and troubleshooting

Key Responsibilities:

1. Network Design:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design network architectures that meet those needs
- Develop network diagrams, flowcharts, and other visual aids to communicate network designs to stakeholders and other IT professionals
- Select and implement appropriate networking technologies, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points

2. Network Implementation:
- Configure and test network devices, such as routers, switches, and firewalls
- Install and configure network operating systems, such as Cisco IOS or Juniper Junos
- Configure network protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
- Implement network security measures, such as VPNs, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems

3. Network Maintenance:
- Monitor network performance and identify areas for improvement
