Job description
To work as part of our Building Services team for WSP USA in WSP India CRC to provide CAD/BIM support to engineering projects. The successful candidate’s role will be as BIM Modeler - Electrical in our Bengaluru office. You will report to Principal Engineer in Project functionally and reporting to Line manager operationally.
Responsibilities Prepare Electrical Drawings - 3D Revit coordinated models Work closely with USA office to ensure required BIM standards are followed in the CRC Team. Support design teams and bid teams with the creation of 3D visualizations Prepare quantities for use in BoQs from the 3D model Provide specialist support to design teams preparing analysis and design models Support the development and delivery of Project training to the Juniors Coordination with other discipline team members (like Mechanical, Plumbing, etc.) Clash detection and clash resolution Create Parametric Revit Families Key Competencies / Skills Mandatory Skills: Experience of working on modelling, coordination and managing of International Projects Expert user of AutoCAD, Revit MEP & Navisworks Experienced user of MS Office Excellent working knowledge of BIM software (version 2019 and above). Must have good capability on the below: BIM model setup Model linking procedures BIM modelling concepts and procedures Copy / Monitor procedures Work-sharing Work sets Family creation View setup and browser organization View templates Visibility / Graphics Overrides Tagging and annotation procedures Sheet creation and management Schedule creation and management BIM Parameters Navisworks Export Ability to develop Dynamo scripts/working knowledge in Dynamo Model authoring Drawing documentation Design communication Model outputs Model/drawing Quality Mandatory Software Skills REVIT, AutoCAD, BIM, Building Services, Electrical ProjectsJob tags
