Job description
The Instructional Designer serves as a course developer and is responsible for building and maintaining instructor-led, web-based, and eLearning courses for Customer Care and external Service Providers. This role involves all aspects of course development, including needs analysis, high level design, detail design, development, beta testing, finalization for production, and rollout.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities Develop and design training courses for the Helpdesk, external Service Providers, and internal users Design learning activities, assignments, and assessments Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc) Collaborate with teammates to analyze, evaluate, and update training documentation in all available formats Train other members of the Knowledge Management team on the proper use of the Learning Management System and other online training tools Manage training content within the LMS (Learning Management System) Write scripts for video and audio content Keep current on trends, tools, and best practices within the instructional design field Coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues reported by LMS users The duties and responsibilities listed in this job description represent the major responsibilities of the position.
