Job description
# Lead the site Projects & Capex function, ensuring proactive and target-oriented management to enhance operational effectiveness and improve project delivery.
# Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, managing a cross-functional core team and driving projects for facility expansions, manufacturing capacity enhancement, and machine layout modifications.
# Manage project budgets and resources, delivering on critical phase gates with a focus on quality deliverables, and provide regular progress updates to the management team.
# Drive sustaining solutions in collaboration with business unit teams, providing functional leadership on technological competence, and influencing (parts of) the projects' development roadmap.
# Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project progress, establish a measurement and reporting framework, and use appropriate project management tools for rigorous planning and execution.
# Plan and execute CAPEX projects, focus on energy consumption reduction, and ensure compliance with EHS guidelines and statutory testing for plant operations.
# Collaborate, negotiate, and engage with stakeholders to facilitate project delivery and compliance with maintenance strategy.
# Demonstrate experience in building strong functional teams, sustaining engineering activities, and end-to-end project management, while showcasing high levels of initiative, leadership, and effective communication skills.
# Exhibit strong analytical skills for financial analysis and strategic planning, along with excellent project planning, supervision, and interpersonal skills.
# Work in a global matrix organization, ideally possessing knowledge of the Ceramic industry, furnaces, and kilns. PMP certification and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt/Green Belt are preferred qualifications.
# Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards, overseeing EHS guidelines, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement in projects and capex utilization
