Cost Accountant (CWA/CWA Inter), 2-5yrs exp, Chennai
Position: Cost Accountant
Location: Chennai
Educational qualification- CWA/CWA Inter/M. Com
Experience Required: 2-5 yrs Cost Accounting experience in a manufacturing industry needed
Roles and Responsibilities.
Preparation of monthly MIS, Costing reports and variance analysis.
Understanding the overall operational process and implementing controls in order to maintain authenticity and consistency in MIS.
Preparation of calculations for pricing and costing of new products.
Valuation of inventory to be done on monthly basis.
Understanding existing process set up in SAP and implementing changes based on requirement.
Detailed analysis of cost and implementing cost control and reduction measures.
Preparation of Annual Budget, Monthly and yearly forecasts.
Calculation of Labour cost, machine cost, change over cost, fixed costs, and allocation of the same.
Implementing Product Wise-Customer wise profitability statement.
Coordinating with Auditors and providing data to timely closure of audits.
Coordinating with internal stakeholders for timely closure of books of accounts monthly.
