The Role The Staff Accountant collaborates closely with the NewRocket Finance Controller and the finance team to contribute to diverse accounting and finance processes and initiatives. What You Will Be Doing Work on UK accounting procedures, ensure compliance with US GAAP, and manage UK periodic taxes. Efficiently handle day-to-day activities such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger posting. Assist in the month-end close process, including balance sheet reconciliations, revenue reconciliations, financial statement reporting, variance analysis, commission calculations, and other financial metric reporting. Aid in preparing bank reconciliations. Conduct recurring and ad-hoc financial analyses for services projects. Collaborate with other departments to address business needs. Identify and execute process improvements. What You Bring Along Possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Excel and ledger management; familiarity with Indian tax regulations is advantageous. Previous experience with Microsoft D365 Financial Operations preferred. Exceptional time management skills, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to high-level business ethics. Proactively engage with and collaborate with external departments.
