Supporting Actions
Adherence to safe working process to comply with set standards
- Plan and supervise the maintenance jobs ensuring that the safety norms are being adhered to.
- To understand and meet safety requirements for Permit to work , Hot work, Work at height , Lock out & Tag out, Machine Guarding, Material lifting , Forklift safety and other ABG safety standards
- To carryout SBO and ensure safety talk in dept.
- Prepare JSA and communicate to technicians for adherence to safety PPE's
Maintenance of identified equipment for smooth working and minimise production loss due to failures
- To carryout breakdown maintenance in designated area. To analyse and eliminate root causes of breakdown. To take steps to improve MTBF and MTTR
- To plan and carryout Preventive Maintenance of equipment in designated area. To log deterioration pattern for replacement planning
- To carryout predictive maintenance and take corrective actions as per need.
- Provide inputs on the experience with particular equipment, raise issue w.r.t. repeated failure, quality issue at appropriate level
Providing knowledge and skill to team member to execute the work and give better service to user deptt
- Explain any new SOP, equipment, norm to the technicians for effective and safe implementation.
- Monitor jobs and correct gaps / deviations, if any observed from set standards.
- Providing on the job inputs to the technicians
Plan & supervise resource allocation to ensure machines are attended within target time (SLA) and reduce misuse of repair items.
- Organise required spares, indenting and issuance from stores and provide the same to the technician and retain unused spares as required for maintenance work while ensuring that misuse and wastage is avoided.
- Implement consumption reduction initiatives for natural resources and energy saving.
Maintain the discipline in plant for harmonious environment and no loss of working time due to IR issues
- Making the scheduled visits to various sections and resolving the issues wherever required and providing the resources, if need be to ensure smooth plant operations.
- Carrying out the counselling wherever required for smooth plant operations.
Manage business excellence initiatives and comply with legal requirement to achieve sustainability of the process
- Ensure awareness and capability building of team members towards business excellence requirement.
- Manage WCM/IMS initiatives in coordination with Business excellence team
- Ensure legal compliances requirements.
