Job Title: Automation QA Engineer - Playwright (Java/Python)Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Automation QA Engineer with expertise in using Playwright for web application testing, along with proficiency in either Java or Python. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software products through the design and implementation of automated test scripts.Responsibilities:Test Automation Development:- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for end-to-end testing of web applications.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand testing requirements and design effective test cases.Scripting and Programming:- Utilize Java or Python to enhance and customize Playwright scripts for specific testing scenarios.- Leverage programming skills to create reusable functions and libraries for test automation.Test Planning and Strategy:- Participate in test planning and strategy sessions to identify test scope, objectives, and requirements.- Contribute to the creation of comprehensive test plans for different software modules.Defect Tracking:- Identify, document, and track software defects using established bug tracking systems.- Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for efficient and consistent test execution.- Monitor and troubleshoot automated test failures in CI/CD environments.Collaboration and Communication:- Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to foster a collaborative testing environment.- Communicate test progress, results, and challenges effectively to relevant stakeholders.3+Years of ExperienceLocation: Sector-2, NoidaQualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.- Experience with Tech Services or Product Company.- Travel Domain Experience Preferable.- Proven experience in test automation using Playwright for web applications.- Strong programming skills in Java or Python.- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and testing practices.- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools.- Good to Have : Selenium,JUnit,Protractor,Mockito- Solid understanding of web technologies, browsers, and client-server architectures.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software.- Preferred Travel Domain experience.- Experience with Unit Tests, Integration Tests, Regression Tests.
