Description :

The Assistant Professor, Department of Mental Health Nursing will be responsible for teaching, research, and service within the department. They will be expected to develop and deliver high-quality courses and programs in mental health nursing, as well as mentor students and engage in research activities.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and teach courses in mental health nursing at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Advise students and provide academic support.
• Engage in research activities and publish findings in academic journals.
• Participate in departmental and college-wide committees and initiatives.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental and college-wide policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in Mental Health Nursing.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in teaching and research in the field of mental health nursing.
• Strong knowledge of mental health nursing theories and practices.
• Strong research and publication record in the field of mental health nursing.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
