Job description

Position Overview: AGS Health is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager of Internal Communication to lead our internal branding and communication team related to branding, communication strategies and initiatives. The General Manager of Internal Communication will play a pivotal role in fostering a global culture of integrity, transparency, engagement, and collaboration within our organization. This position is located in Chennai, India, and requires exceptional English communication skills, both written and spoken. This role will report to the SVP Marketing and work collaboratively and develop strategies that align with AGS Health corporate standards and strategies to support our global organization internal communication needs.

Key Responsibilities: Internal Communication Strategy:

Develop and implement a comprehensive internal communication strategy aligned with AGS Health's brand, mission, and values. Leadership Engagement:

Collaborate with senior leadership to effectively convey organizational messages, initiatives, and updates to all employees. Content Creation:

Develop engaging and informative content for internal communication channels, including newsletters, emails, intranet, and digital platforms. Communication Channels:

Develop and maintain communication channels, including Intranet portals, email newsletters, video messages, Town Hall meetings, social media, and workshops. Employee Engagement:

Design and execute communication programs that promote employee engagement, recognize achievements, and share success stories. Change Communication:

Support change management initiatives by creating communication plans and materials to facilitate smooth transitions and address employee concerns. Prioritization:

Effectively communicate key corporate initiatives and business priorities to diverse global audiences. Communication Training:

Provide communication training and support to leaders and teams to enhance their communication skills. Feedback Mechanisms:

Implement KPIs and feedback mechanisms to gauge the effectiveness of internal communication efforts and make continuous improvements. Crisis Communication:

Develop crisis communication protocols and materials for timely and accurate information dissemination during critical situations. Leadership:

Manage and mentor a high-performing team responsible for delivering content across various company-wide channels. Collaboration:

Collaborate with HR, marketing, and other departments to align internal communication efforts with external messaging and branding. Analytics:

Develop and track KPIs, analyzing internal communications editorial metrics and engagement. Organizational Excellence:

Monitor internal communication best practices, optimizing tools and processes as needed. Budget Management:

Efficiently manage the internal communication budget, seeking cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. Minimum of 10 years of experience in internal communication, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills. Write, edit, and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to AGS Health voice and brand standards Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize competing responsibilities in a fast-moving work environment Strong understanding of internal and corporate communications best practices Proven experience in developing and executing successful internal communication strategies. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams at all levels. Build strong partnerships with matrix organizations and serve as strategic communications advisor Excellent project management and organizational skills. Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Proficiency in using digital communication tools and platforms.
