Job description
Position: Technical Support Engineer Classification: Full Time
Reports to: Manager, Customer Support Department: Support
Location: Remote (WFH) Notice Period : immediate to 15 Days
Shift : Second Shift ( 2:30pm to 11:30pm )
Objective:
The Technical Support Engineer performs ongoing activities at the Tier 3 level, including back-end data management. The Support Engineer will provide input and technical expertise, as well as provide assistance to internal customers and support staff.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Leverage SQL development skills to update and repair customer databases
· Troubleshoot, debug and implement software code to resolve issues.
· Be available to assist customers with escalated technical support issues and the implementation of the solutions
· Evaluate user needs, define technical problems, and work with engineering/development staff to determine the best technical solutions
· Apply innovative strategies to develop processes and best practices
Skills Required:
· Excellent ability to document and communicate technical concepts in the simplest of terms to a non-technical audience
· Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
· Strong interpersonal, communication (both written and verbal) and listening skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with various cross-functional groups
· Proven ability to multi-task while paying strict attention to detail
· Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies
· Ability to write and debug intermediate to advanced SQL queries and scripts
· Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft SQL Server
· Experience with Active Directory, SAML SSO and Azure AD

· Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field preferred
· Related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience to total 3 to 6 combined years.
· Advanced-to-expert knowledge of Windows operating systems preferred
· Advanced-to-expert knowledge of Network and Server infrastructures preferred
· Expert knowledge of all SQL Platforms to include SQL Replication preferred
