Role Summary We're seeking a talented DevOps and Security Solutions Engineer with a passion for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to elevate our infrastructure, deployment strategies, and security posture. If you have a proven track record of designing, implementing, and optimizing secure cloud-based solutions, this is the role for you! You'll drive automation and security best practices to support our cutting-edge digital and AI projects. Key Responsibilities Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines on GCP, ensuring seamless development-to-production workflows. ⚙️ Architect and optimize scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient GCP cloud infrastructure. ️ Champion security, developing and enforcing guidelines across cloud deployments to safeguard data and ensure compliance. Employ Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager) to automate provisioning and management. Establish comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to proactively address issues. Collaborate with development teams to embed security into the SDLC (DevSecOps). ️♂️ Conduct security audits, risk assessments, and penetration testing to strengthen our defences. Stay ahead of the curve by researching the latest cloud, DevOps, and cybersecurity trends. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. 3+ years of hands-on DevOps and security experience, with a strong emphasis on Google Cloud Platform. ️ In-depth knowledge of GCP services (Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, etc.). Expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Spinnaker) and IaC practices (Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager). Proven experience implementing cloud security strategies (IAM, network security, data protection, compliance). ️ Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell). Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
