Job description
Education Qualification : Engineering Degree in E&T, ECE, IT, CS or equivalentSkills Requirement :- Prior experience of International Roaming Managed services.- Proficient knowledge of international roaming services (2G, 3G, LTE), the protocols SS7, MAP, CAP, DIAMETER and SIP.- Good understanding of Telecom call flows in International Roaming scenarios.- Analyze MAP, SCCP, CAP, Diameter, GTPv1, and GTPv2 failure logs/trace/wireshark.- Core Network knowledge (HLR, VLR, MSC, SGSN, GGSN, MME, HSS, SGw, PGw).- Protocol and trace analysis skills.- Excellent understanding of troubleshooting methodology.- Understanding of the business requirements of international roaming.- Good working knowledge on window applications software packages (e.g. MS Excel, VBA/Macro, MS Word, MS PowerPoint etc).- Exposure to Linux/Unix system commands.- Good communication Skills. Able to communicate clearly and concisely.- Strong team playerJob Description :- Work with local MS team (24-7) & show guidance on trouble shooting of general & specific problems of international roaming.- Build the necessary communication requirements among different teams/roaming partners and customer.- Identification and analysis of technical issues related to international roaming.- Monitoring & analyzing international roaming network performance and suggesting corrective action to improve all Voice & Data KPIs by detailed technical analysis.- To ensure seamless roaming services for high profile subscribers by monitoring the roaming performance for selected groups.- To administer and support closure of technical issues with internal departments and inter-work with roaming partners to ensure fast resolution.- Escalation of performance issues with different roaming partners & departments to ensure coordination, control and end-to-end support for proper issue handling & rectification.- Handling the preparation of KPI reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly basis and reviewing the reports to ensure the efficiency of the core network KPIs.- Act as the technical roaming subject matter expert on existing or new projects.- Drive operational performance of the network KPIs & MS team performance in monthly operational review meetings with customer.- Collaborate with Roaming Partners and internal stakeholders e.g., Commercial and customer care, to identify trends and drive fixes for inbound/outbound live roaming incidents within the agreed service SLA.
