Job Title: Fashion Designer (Technical Focus)
Job Description: Location: Hyderabad, India (On-site role) About the Role: Totdot, a dynamic and growing online marketplace for kids’ products, is seeking a technically proficient Fashion Designer. This role is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong technical skills in textile design, particularly in creating detailed tech packs, size charts, and textile drawings. Responsibilities: • Develop and produce comprehensive tech packs for children’s clothing and accessories. • Illustrate design concepts with a focus on technical accuracy and feasibility. • Create and maintain accurate size charts and measurement specifications for garments. • Work collaboratively with the design team to bring creative ideas to life in a practical, producible manner. • Conduct research on materials, textiles, and trends to ensure high-quality and innovative product designs. • Manage multiple design projects with adherence to deadlines and technical standards. Requirements: • Degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or related field. • Strong skill set in textile drawing, garment construction, and technical detailing. • Proficient in producing detailed tech packs and design specifications. • Solid understanding of textile properties, garment fitting, and size chart development. • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.
