Role Overview:
As a
Test Engineer specialising in Usage Authorization functionality, you will be pivotal in ensuring the release of high-quality software for driver authentication features. Your role will involve facilitating the implementation of software to prevent unauthorized vehicle usage and guarantee that the vehicle remains operable only with a valid key or device. You will work across all stages of development, verification, and legacy maintenance, contributing significantly to the team's overall test strategy and quality assurance processes.
Role and Responsibilities: - Plan, prioritize, and coordinate tasks within the team to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of software.
- Analyze requirements and develop comprehensive test cases to verify functionality, reliability, and compliance with legal standards.
- Drive the implementation of test automation frameworks and integrate them into the Continuous Integration (CI) pipeline for seamless testing processes.
- Develop test cases for CI Devices and ensure their effective integration into the testing environment.
- Identify test requirements, execute tests, and lead the implementation of automated testing solutions.
- Implement failure mode test cases to assess the system's robustness and resilience against potential faults.
- Provide support for fault tracing and troubleshooting activities to address issues promptly.
- Contribute to system testing efforts and participate in updating test methodologies, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with team members to refine the overall test strategy and improve the quality of testing procedures.
- Act as a key member of the agile team, actively participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Manage interfaces with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the development lifecycle.
This Role Requires: Required Skills and Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent documented experience.
- Proficiency in software development with experience in Python, CAPL, Robot Framework, Jenkins, Git, Gerrit, Matlab, and Simulink.
- Familiarity with automation testing tools and practices, including experience with Jira.
- Knowledge of automotive protocols such as ISO 13400 DoIP and CAN protocols (ISO 15765, ISO 14229 UDS).
- Experience with tools like CANoe, DSA, and understanding of Wake-up strategies.
- Understanding of ECU Activation and De-activation Sequences, Key architectural principles, and different layers.
- Familiarity with Requirement handling and basic knowledge of TCP/IP.
- Experience working in SAFe/Agile environments and teams.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English, Swedish driving license B or equivalent.
- Meritorious: Knowledge of Vehicle Mode Management, TCP/IP, System Engineering, and experience with tools like System Weaver and Elektra.
