Job description
Designation : Firmware Testing Exp : 4 + Years Location : Bangalore (Whitefield)Essential Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or Biomedical Engineering.- 3+ to 5 years of experience in firmware test experience in Embedded C / Embedded C++.- Experience working in medical devices sector (strongly preferred) or in a regulated industry such as aerospace, automotive, etc.- Minimum 2+ years of experience in manual test case writing and manual test execution on real target hardware is must.- Minimum 2+ years of Firmware testing or Embedded testing knowledge is must.- Minimum 1 year experience with automated tools for testing.- Minimum 1 year's hands on experience with Lab view.- Hands on experience in scripting language such as Tcl or python.- Understanding of SW-HW interfaces.- Knowledge of test plans, test specification and test result documentation is must.- Ability to work in an electronics lab with basic knowledge of oscilloscope, logic analyzer and function generator.Desired/Preferred Qualifications : - Master of Science degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering.- Understanding of IEC 62304 software development standards for medical device industry.- Basic familiarity with electromechanical concepts or fluid circuits (electronics, motors, pumps, sensors, etc.)- Experience in automated test system development in python added advantage.- Experience with simulation software such as MATLAB.- Understanding of PCB design, schematics, layout.
