Job description
Design, develop, and customise programs and applications to suit corporate requirements. Liaise with Team leader and operating teams to set and follow guidelines when designing and implementing a solution. Assist and Troubleshoot problems if necessary to ensure smooth flow of daily activities KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Business Intelligence Application Developments Applications Support:
- Develop and build-up models, dashboards, and reports
- Implement change management and release management
- Provide end users with the necessary support
- Escalate unresolved cases to second level of support
- Book new requests with external application support if advised from 2nd level of support
- Follow up with external support till a solution is provided and implemented
SPAN OF Communication:
- Internal: Corporate IT Business System Unit
- External: IT Vendors; External Application Support
Job relevant information (BOUNDARIES DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY)
- The jobholder is responsible for making decisions related to their direct scope of work
Skills
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s Degree in computer science/Information Technology or related degree
Preferred Experience:
- 3 to 5 years experience in application developments
Job-Specific Skills:
- Business intelligence tools, reporting solutions, data warehousing, ETL, strong skills in SQL
COMPETENCIES:
- Multi-tasked, very well organized
- Require excellent skills in databases, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications
- Computer language knowledge especially in SQL Knowledge and any of the advanced BI tools such as Power BI or Cognos BI, Tableau, Zoho, etc.
