Job description
The Enterprise Web Development Lead will play a crucial role in overseeing and leading custom software development projects, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities:
Project Delivery and Success:
- Lead and manage custom software development projects from initiation to completion.
- Meet project timelines and objectives, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage a team of software developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Develop and mentor team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
Code Quality and Security:
- Maintain high code quality standards and adhere to coding best practices.
- Optimizing code and system performance, identifying and addressing bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
Technical Excellence:
- Demonstrate technical expertise by taking charge of complex coding tasks and architectural design.
- Solve complex technical problems that arise during development, making critical decisions to keep projects on track.
Candidate Profile :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in custom software development.
- Required Technical Skills : Java* , JSP, Spring boot*, Postgres DB, AWS
- Knowledge of software development methodologies
- Experience in leading, managing and mentoring a team of developers.
- Experience in complex coding, architectural design, and solving technical challenges.
Skills:
- Software Development: Proficiency in relevant programming languages and development tools.
- Architecture and Design: Ability to design scalable, maintainable, and efficient software architectures.
- Complex Coding: Strong coding skills to tackle complex coding tasks and troubleshoot technical challenges.
- Code Review: Experience in conducting code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Performance Optimization: Expertise in optimizing code and system performance, identifying and addressing bottlenecks.
- Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems like Git to manage source code.
- Security Awareness: Knowledge of security best practices, including data protection and vulnerability assessment.
- Team Leadership: Ability to lead, inspire, and manage a team of developers.
- Project Management: Proficiency in planning, prioritizing, and executing development projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and make decisions.
- Mentorship and Training: Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to junior developers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Interpersonal communication skills: Effective communication with the internal team translating technical concepts into understandable language.
