Job description
Resource Management :
● Lead and oversee six Project Managers under private sector partnership, state and central government partnership, Primary & secondary infrastructure development (CC,MRF &PRF) and Plastic recycling
● Monitor and ensure adherence to project timelines across all sectors under your supervision.
● Provide immediate support and advice to direct reports and their teams for troubleshooting.
● Conduct daily team meetings to assess project status, adjusting intervals based on project progress .
● Strategize and engage with private and government teams to meet project requirements.
● Participate in key stakeholder meetings, offering support in problem-solving and process initiation.
● Regularly visit infrastructure projects, ensuring processes are in place and offering support where needed.
● Facilitate vendor selection, procurement, logistics, and successful operations across your projects.
Process Improvement
● Continuously observe, assess, and enhance processes as needed to improve efficiency and the quality of work.
● Propose changes to reporting structures with valid reasoning, seeking approval from the reporting manager.
● Recommend the addition or removal of processes, ensuring alignment with the reporting manager for enhanced deliverables.
● Overview of facility operations across projects and recommending necessary interventions and improvements.
Audits:
● Conduct random and surprise audits at various stages of projects to ensure process efficiency and workflow optimization.
● Perform audits on the recording and follow-up discussions with stakeholders to ensure the thorough review of communications for higher hierarchy.
● Conduct audits on infrastructure development, focusing on adherence to specifications and timelines.
● Perform audits on process flow, material quality, manpower utilization, and other operational requirements, intervening as necessary to enhance project performance.
● Manage project budgets effectively, tracking expenses and ensuring financial allocations align with project priorities. Collaborate with finance teams to provide accurate and timely financial reporting.
Field Survey:
● strategically plan and schedule field visits for project managers, coordinating with them to align with project timelines and objectives.
● Conduct weekly visits to project sites as required, overseeing processes and addressing challenges to ensure project alignment and quality assurance.
Data Management:
● Establish data entry infrastructure across all processes and monitor timely.
● Report high-level data KPIs regularly to the Project Director, updating on fall backs and countermeasures.
Project Management/Coordination:
● Ensure projects adhere to the designated timeline and achieve proposed targets.
● Communicate promptly to the Project Director (PD) about any changes, necessitating a revision of the project plan in zoho projects.
● Establish and maintain effective engagement and communication channels with both state and central government authorities to ensure seamless coordination and compliance throughout the project.
Capacity Building:
● Design and propose capacity-building programs tailored to meet internal team requirements.
● Develop and implement necessary interventions in projects, addressing external factors that directly or indirectly impact project outcomes. Additionally, recommend improvements where necessary.
● Offer suggestions and contribute to the development of schemes and policy interventions aimed at fostering positive impacts and improvements .
Documentation and Reporting:
● Develop weekly and monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for reporting to the Project Director (PD).
● Optimize reporting efficiency by maximizing automation from the lower levels of the hierarchy.
● Provide oversight for all documentation processes within the managed projects.
Business Development:
● Continuously explore potential business opportunities arising from the project, designing and reporting project plans accordingly.
● Identify and develop various business models as needed, closely monitoring and evaluating each element within the projects business model, and implementing necessary improvements.
● Enhance visibility among stakeholders and the market to identify opportunities for integration into the Waste Management (WM) system or infrastructure.
● Oversee the establishment of procurement and sales connections for all infrastructure projects, driving entrepreneurs toward profitable business models.
● Facilitate collaboration with authorized recyclers and plastic manufacturers to enhance project infrastructure for increased value addition.
● Initiate connections with producers and brand owners to create incentives for plastic collections, fostering collaboration and promoting sustainable practices
