Job description:
The Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy at JKKN College of Pharmacy will play a key role in achieving the college's vision and mission. This position will be responsible for teaching, mentoring, conducting research, and providing academic and administrative leadership in the field of pharmacy. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality educational programs, maintain a strong research profile, and provide leadership in departmental initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- The Associate Professor of Pharmaceutics is responsible for providing high-quality instruction and mentorship to students in the department.
- They will be responsible for developing and delivering curriculum that is consistent with the college's vision and mission.
- They will also be responsible for conducting and publishing original research in the field of Pharmaceutics that aligns with the college's research priorities.
- The Associate professor will also be involved in professional development activities and service to the college, community and profession.
Qualifications:
- A PhD in Pharmaceutics or a related field is required.
- Candidates should have a strong record of research and publications in the field of Pharmaceutics.
- Experience in teaching and mentoring students at the college level is also required.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students and stakeholders is essential.
- Candidates with experience in pharmaceutical industry or regulatory affairs will be preferred.
