Responsibilities:

Manage with the help of the team, portfolio of clients on matters relating to international, domestic tax and regulatory matters. Identify and mine opportunities from existing client relationships for direct tax and other service lines. Working closely with other partners and team members to identify new clients/ opportunities for the tax practice. Providing advise on wide range of professionally and owner managed entities including overseas entities. Advising clients on complex transactions including mergers, acquisitions, group restructurings, cross border tax planning etc. Assisting clients in developing tax strategies which align with future strategies direction of the business such as family succession, expansion to include taking on new investment etc. Introducing and providing advise to the clients on the adoption of tax technology tools in conjunction with the Tax Technology Team. Researching and reviewing tax technical memorandum and reports for provision to clients and contributing to the knowledge management team of BDO. Supervising and mentoring a team of tax professionals across multiple levels. Managing the internal reporting requirements of the firm as per the set timelines
