Short Description This role is focused on Business Management (BM) for Debt Capital Markets (DCM); You will work closely with senior bankers in the DCM BM team in NY in doing analysis / presentations to provide insights for the senior management in DCM – track the debt capital markets, new deals in market / pipeline, analyze deal economics, track league tables, slice and dice the data across different debt products – Bonds / Loans and industries to understand underlying themes, maintain trackers, ensure the deals are captured well in databases, help on various dashboards / initiatives for the senior management.
Posting Description The Centralized Research Group (CRG) is part of CIB R&A covering Banking globally. It works closely with the firm's Investment Banking (IB), Commercial Banking (CB) and Global Corporate Banking (GCB) teams offering customized financial solutions across Mergers & Acquisitions, Equity / Debt capital raising, Credit, Treasury, Cash Management, Trade, and Markets, among others.

Job Responsibilities - Assisting in preparing weekly, monthly and quarterly updates for the team, consisting of various trends and key deals in the period, etc.
- Preparing league tables, credentials and other standard pages
- Fee / wallet analysis – Bringing insights to senior management based on missed deals / pipeline, etc.
- Tracking new deals, maintaining internal trackers – Highlighting any data inconsistencies in deals and taking corrective actions
- Helping on various presentations which will be used by senior management for business review
- Working on identifying themes based on research and conducting ad hoc research as required
- Helping on various MIS, dashboards / internal initiatives and coming up with creative solutions that address the needs of senior management
Required Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills - Excellent academic record
- Basic understanding of Investment Banking / Debt Capital markets with strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills with ability to effectively interact with senior professionals / key stakeholders and ability to operate in a lean team structure
- Ability to multitask several projects, have a keen eye for detail and deliver quality under pressure
- Ability to adapt to non-standard requests independently with minimal guidance and manage time when faced with multiple urgent tasks
- Ability to find / source information from different sources and work on large amount of data
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills - Relevant work experience in BM, Banking or credit domain
- Knowledge of databases like Dealogic, Bloomberg etc.
- An eye for automation; basic knowledge of VBA, Tableau and Python
