Job Description: The role works under supervision of the company global CISO and oversees information security in Galytix office in India. S/he helps to implement enterprise security strategy and objectives, develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures. Additionally, s/he acts as an SME for local legislation and regulation related to information security and privacy. The Information Technology Security Specialist (India) owns security operations in India office, including awareness training, user access reviews, and vulnerability management. In case of security incident, s/he coordinate IT team members to contain and remediate security incident. The Information Technology Security Specialist (India) supports development teams during the software development and delivery processes. S/he reviews application security testing reports and ensures remediation of the identified security issues. Responsibilities · Ensure that IT systems in Galytix office in India are in line with the company security policies requirements · Work with Global CISO, continuously assess current security practices and systems and identify areas for improvement · Act as SME for local IT security and privacy legislation, identify gaps and recommend actions to ensure that the company systems and processes are in line with the requirements · Collaborate with IT and developers teams, review and address security issues during the software development and deployment · Maintain and periodically review security policies, standards and procedures · Help raising cybersecurity awareness within Galytix · React and respond to security incidents, coordinate containment, remediation and restoration activities on the ground Required experience · At least 5 years of experience in Information security, strong understanding of security concepts and best practices · Good understanding of IT concepts, including VPN, cloud technologies, containerized applications · Knowledge of Agile principles and secure software development processes · Strong technical knowledge of application security topics such as threat modelling, SAST, DAST Nice-to-have · Security certifications i.e. CISSP, CISM · Good understanding of ISO 27001 standards and certification · Experience with Azure and/or AWS · Experience in security operations, vulnerability management and incident response · Knowledge of local legislation in the area of IT securityJob tags
