Job description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Structure Design Engineer to join our
dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing water
retaining structures solar structures and ensuring compliance with industry
standards and contributing to the successful implementation of water supply and
solar energy projects.
Responsibilities:
1.Structural Design:
Design and analyse water retaining structures and solar support structures
taking into consideration factors such as wind loads snow loads and seismic
conditions.
Water retaining structures like OHSR CWR etc.
Utilize engineering software and tools to create detailed structural drawings
and specifications.
2.Material Selection:
Work closely with procurement teams to identify and select appropriate
materials for solar support structures.
Ensure that materials meet industry standards including relevant IS codes and
project specifications.
3.Innovation and Optimization:
Explore innovative design solutions and optimization techniques to enhance
the efficiency and costeffectiveness of structures.
Stay abreast of industry trends and incorporate the latest technologies into
design processes.
4.Collaboration:
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including project managers electrical
engineers and construction teams to integrate solar structure designs into
overall project plans.
Provide technical expertise and support during the construction and
installation phases of structures.
5.Quality Assurance:
Implement quality control measures to ensure the structural integrity and
durability of structures.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with design
specifications.
6.Documentation:
Prepare comprehensive design documentation including structural
calculations drawings and specifications.
Maintain accurate records of design changes project updates and
communication with stakeholders.
7.Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Structural Engineering or a related
field.
Proven experience in structural design with a focus on water andsolar.
Proficiency in structural analysis software and AutoCAD.
