Job description
Requirements Gathering :
- Collaborating with stakeholders to identify long-term goals and objectives, aligning them with business strategies, and translating them into actionable plans.
- Leading the requirements-gathering process.
Requirement Analysis and Documentation :
- Responsible for ensuring that business needs are accurately captured and documented by reviewing and validating the documentation.
- Assessing the captured business requirements for clarity, feasibility, and alignment with project objectives. Ensuring it meets market standards.
- Identifying gaps, conflicts, and dependencies. Supporting stakeholders in resolving issues and achieving consensus.
- Conducting research on the collected requirements. Converting derived insights into potential business solutions that could enhance stakeholders business intentions.
- Managing requirements throughout the project lifecycle. Addressing changes and maintaining traceability.
Data Analysis and Reporting :
- Responsible for applying advanced data analyzing techniques. Guiding strategic decision-making.
- Recommending effective system solutions and strategies for stakeholders business needs.
Backlog Management :
- Responsible for setting up the backlog roadmap for the project in alignment with business goals.
- Validating product backlog items. Ensuring they are aligned with business requirements and market standards.
- Leading backlog refinement conversations at regular time periods with team members. Suggesting solutions and strategies.
Change Management :
- Responsible for leading change management efforts including impact analysis. Proposing change management plans.
- Facilitating smooth adoption of new solutions including training, communication, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
Project Management :
- Accountable for providing greater support in managing projects, coordinating teams, ensuring project success in alignment with business objectives.
- Accountable for assessing risks associated with proposed solutions or changes to business processes.
- Responsible for developing risk mitigation strategies; integrating risk management into BA activities.
- Overseeing testing activities; ensuring quality and compliance throughout the project.
Stakeholder Management :
- Responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders. Representing as a trusted advisor to the business.
- Influencing stakeholders in decision-making by continuously exhibiting industry expertise and recommending best practices.
- Leading stakeholder management including communication, managing expectations, ensuring stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensuring implemented solution is demonstrated to stakeholders on planned timeline. Converting their feedback into action items.
- Leading training sessions for stakeholders on implemented solutions. Managing solution documentation, training documents, and user manuals.
Value Creation
Thought Leadership :
- Staying updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in business analysis.
- Sharing knowledge and expertise through conferences, industry forums, internal training programs.
Establishing Opportunities :
- Responsible for continuously exhibiting industry expertise with stakeholders. Influencing proactive suggestions on business enhancements.
Solution Design and Evaluation :
- Collaborating with technical teams to design and evaluate potential solutions. Ensuring they meet business requirements and align with enterprise architecture.
- Assisting in solution selection. Providing guidance on best practices.
Business Process Improvement :
- Analyzing existing business processes. Identifying areas for improvement. Proposing optimized processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, increase productivity.
- Defining and maintaining the business architecture including capabilities, processes information flows organizational structure.
- Ensuring that the business architecture supports strategic objectives; aligns with IT systems/solutions.
Community Contribution :
- Contributing to BA community of practice by knowledge sharing through conducting workshops engaging actively in BA community events collaborating networking.
Mentoring Coaching :
- Providing guidance support mentorship to junior BAs helping them develop skills/knowledge in BA practices/methodologies
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- A professional with 7-12 years of experience in Business Analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in utilizing various techniques within the business analysis skillset to address complex business problems and clarify requirements in a multi-stakeholder environment.
- Familiarity with working closely with senior stakeholders on strategic projects and programs.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
- Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of business operations and the importance of commercial limitations.

- Obtaining an industry-recognized certification, such as the IIBA CBAP - Certified Business Analysis Professional, can effectively demonstrate your dedication to the field and significantly enhance your professional credibility.
