JOB DESCRIPTION

Role Proficiency:

Create and Organise testing process based on project requirement and manage test activities within team

Outcomes:

1. Test Estimates and Schedules-. Ensure Test Coverage
2. Produce test results defect reports test logs and reports to evidence for testing
3. Publish RCA reports and preventive measures
4. Ensure Quality of Deliverables
5. Report project metrics and status
6. Ensure adherence of Engineering practices processes and standards
7. Understand and contribute to test automation/performance testing
8. Work with DevOps team when required to understand testing framework and QA process for implementing continuous testing
9. Manage team utilization

1. Test Script Creation and Execution Productivity
2. Defect Leakage Metrics (% of defect leaked % of UAT defects and % of Production defects)
3. % of Test case reuse
4. Test execution Coverage

2. Identify end-to-end business critical scenarios with less support Create and review the test scenarios and prepare RTM
   
3. Prepare estimates (time /effort) based on the requirements/User stories
   
4. Identify scope of testing

Client Management:

1. Define KPIs to the engagement and ensure adherence to these KPIs.

Stakeholder Connect:

1. Handle monthly/weekly governance calls and represent issues for the team

Additional Comments:

UST is looking for a Sr QA Automation engineer You bring: . 8-12years of proven experience in Test Automation and Manual testing . Skill Set required : . Java, junit, selenium, react js jest, jira, basic knowledge of spring boot applications and web apps . Good knowledge of REST API, Defect management tool e.g. JIRA . Spring Boot experience is an added advantage . Able to understand and articulate functional requirements . Prepare test cases, test reports and share with stakeholders . Well versed in continuous integration, continuous delivery and continuous testing . Expertise in designing and developing test automation related process framework/templates/Guidelines/standards . Good knowledge in Test Estimation, Risk management, Test metrics, Automation solutioning and strategy . Good understanding and experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins . Experience in Mainframe database testing . Ability to quickly learn new technologies/tools . Excellent communication and coordination skills . Exposure to legacy technologies like mainframe is a plus . General awareness on various other automation related tools, solutions, technologies will be an added advantage . Exposure to finance domain is a plus . Knowledge of cloud computing especially AWS . Awareness of Agile methodology
