Web Designer / HTML Developer

Experience:

A maximum of 3 years of experience.

Responsibilities:

*Be responsible for the complete end-to-end coding of websites.
*Be responsible for debugging code, ensuring cross-platform compatibility, and troubleshooting application errors.
*Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling of websites and web applications.
*Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
*Use CSS to create responsive designs that work well on a range of screen sizes.
*Optimize code for maximum speed and scalability.
*Conduct website performance and usability tests.
*Communicate with clients / users to understand their needs and convey possible solutions.
*Meet delivery deadlines.
*Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities.

Skills:

*Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.
*Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery.
*Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
*Strong understanding of web design principles and best practices.
*Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms.
*Basic knowledge of image authoring tools. Familiarity with tools such as Photoshop, Figma, etc. would be a plus.
*Working knowledge of Content Management Systems and Platforms like WordPress, HubSpot, etc.
*Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.
