Position Purpose:
Responsibility for the management, development and leadership of the group activities mainly for legacy products in accordance with the law, regulatory, professional standards, internal regulations, GxP, and business objectives. Management and development of associates.

Your Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to :
• Preparation, review and approval of toxicological/preclinical assessments and/or safety risk assessment, responses to toxicological enquiries, and relevant toxicological inputs, mainly for legacy products
• Responsibility for the planning, organization, management and supervision of preclinical studies in accordance with resources, timelines, regulatory and professional standards, management of team activities in accordance with the Sandoz (mainly Technical Operations/Nitrosamine Task Force/Incident Management) strategy & objectives, resources, timelines, regulatory and professional standards,
• Selection and management of activities performed by contract organizations, cost optimization, professional and regulatory compliance, Active collaboration with cross-functional partners and external experts as indicated by project/product requirements.
• Influences and drives projects & initiatives and generates innovative ideas within team and/or project team/functional community to meet new technical requirement using broad, up to date knowledge of a toxicology and other scientific/technical/development discipline.
• Responsibility for the implementation of GxP standards, proactive and continuous development of the group with the current and anticipated industry trends and statutory regulations, implementation of new methodologies and techniques.
• Responsibility for personal and professional development and the development of the associates. Providing conditions for and control of the implementation of HSE tasks and requirements in the unit.
• Communicate company vision and values; establish and manage good relationships with business partners. Other tasks determined during the annual objectives setting process and by KPIs., tasks as assigned by the supervisor and tasks based on a specific appointment.

Role Requirements

Your Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to :
• PhD in life sciences (pharmacy, veterinary, medicine, biology, (bio)chemistry...) with around 10+ yrs of exp in preclinical research/toxicology
• Min 5+ years of working experience in the leadership position, handling a team
