Our Client is a well-established and reputed Pharma Company, listed on the stock exchange, that is now re-entering the formulations business in India, with an initial focus on the hospital segment. They are offering a rare opportunity for dynamic professionals with proven track records, to be a “Founder-member“ of a team that aims to create a full business from scratch and is committed to achieving it with many innovative and out-of-box strategies and Go-to-market plans while adhering to high ethical standards.

The Sr. Product Manager is a key member of the team, reporting to the Head-Marketing.

The company offers an exciting opportunity for new learnings beyond product marketing, around: •

Building the corporate image of the company •

Clinical marketing plan with value-added services to hospitals, to position them as a knowledge partner to hospitals, and •

a long-term advocacy plan to position the brand as a thought leader on a significant public health issue, with multiple stakeholders like health ministries, NGOs.

Main Purpose Serves as division expert in acute care therapy (Critical Care preferably) including identifying current and future market trends, needs and identifying growth needs. To develop, establish, and maintain marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives. Effective management of the marketing, advertising and promotional activities of the organization. Key Responsibilities : •

Provides leadership and directs product planning, product launches, and product management including strategizing and implementing marketing plans & campaigns and designing communication strategy around the same. •

Responsible for branding our client formulations division as an organization including “top of the mind” recall for Critical Care products. •

Responsible for the timely launch of new brands in the portfolio assigned to him/ her. •

Responsible for maintaining margins across all product segments for his/ her business vertical. •

Responsible for maintaining minimum levels of inventory for the portfolio assigned to him/ her including correct and accurate forecasting of inventory. •

Manages budgets for the campaigns and marketing activities for the product portfolio assigned to him/ her. Responsible for the Market Intelligence for his/her product portfolio. This includes data analysis of market data for trends on product usage across regions/ customers, competitor market shares etc, and suggests strategy changes required to counter changes suggested by the data. •

Responsible for KOL Management & development. Work with the KOLs in spreading Critical Care Therapy awareness and training younger doctors. Facilitates and coordinates with SBU for the participation of KOLs / other doctors in seminars and conferences. •

Analyze current growth patterns, identify target products, benchmark against competition, estimate product segment demand, draft annual AOP, review orders placed, coordinate with Logistics team to ensure prompt availability of products, review post-marketing surveillance, get feedback from customers to enhance growth prospects for the region. •

Coordinates with other functions like Clinical, Regulatory, and Finance for product-related studies, product-related approvals that may be required, and cost approvals respectively. Experience: a.

Industry: i.

10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. ii.

A stint in the medical device industry would be an advantage

b.

Functions: i.

Marketing & Brand Management in Critical Care with a focus on hospital sales. ii.

Prior sales experience is a MUST – at least as an ASM in any Hospital division. Our Client believes that exposure to sales makes a better marketing person and vice vers, and that exposure to both is crucial for future Business head / P&L roles

Qualifications: B-Pharma or B.Sc. with an MBA from premier institutes would be preferred.

CTC :- 18 L to 20 L
