Job Title: Human Resources Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled HR Manager with expertise in event management to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in managing human resources functions tailored to the unique needs of the events industry. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of the challenges and intricacies of event management.

Responsibilities: Recruitment and Talent Acquisition: Collaborate with project managers to identify staffing needs for various events and projects. Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, from job postings to candidate selection. Build relationships with freelancers, contractors, and vendors for event-specific roles.

Employee Relations: Foster a positive and inclusive work environment within the company. Address HR-related issues and conflicts, providing guidance and resolutions. Promote a culture that emphasizes teamwork, creativity, and collaboration.

Staffing Logistics: ·

Develop staffing plans in coordination with project managers to ensure adequate resources for events. ·

Oversee scheduling, onboarding, and offboarding processes for both permanent and project-based staff. ·

Coordinate with project teams to align staffing needs with project timelines and goals.

Compliance and Policies: Ensure agency compliance with employment laws and regulations. Develop and communicate HR policies and procedures specific to the agency's project-based nature. Conduct regular reviews to assess and update policies as needed.

Performance Management: Work with project managers to evaluate the performance of staff on event projects. Provide feedback and support performance improvement initiatives. Contribute to the development and implementation of recognition programs for outstanding contributions.

Benefits Administration: Manage benefits programs for agency staff, including healthcare, insurance, and other perks. Address benefits-related inquiries from staff working on different projects.

HR Administration: Maintain accurate records of agency staff information and HR-related documentation. Generate reports on staffing, performance, and other relevant metrics. Collaborate with finance to ensure accurate payroll processing for project-based staff.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience in HR roles within the event management or creative agency industry. Familiarity with the dynamic and project-based nature of event management agencies. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Detail-oriented and well-organized.
