Role : Product Manager
Experience : 5 10 Years of experience
Salary : As per Current CTC
Location : Triplicane Chennai.
Product Manager should have experience in handling and taking ownership of:
Identifying & presenting our products in ways that will strengthen our brand and boost sales
Study products in the market and the upcoming technologies/trends
Follow and analyze market trends to position products
Assess current competitor offerings seeking opportunities for differentiation
Translate technical details into benefits for the consumer
Product messaging and positioning Develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with customers and differentiates our product from its competitors
Develop product lines and appraise new ideas for market viability
Create product marketing communications objectives
Work with the BMS Manager to create product sales strategies
Review inventory levels and production schedules for product availability
Bring new products to market with returnoninvestment analysis
Market new products with sales advertising and production teams
Determine product pricing based on market research production costs and anticipated demand
Manage the product team including coaching and disciplinary actions planning monitoring and job appraisal
Strategic planning and management of the entire product portfolio
Definition and alignment of the vision strategy and roadmap in order to establish the company as a global supplier
Create and present visionary innovations (occasionally in front of investors or analysts) strategic decision proposals as well as the calculation of business cases
You will be responsible for strategic partnerships and lead necessary contract negotiations
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes for products including product research market research competitive analysis planning positioning roadmap development requirements development and product launch
Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototype construction and final product development by engineering teams
Create product strategy documents that describe business cases highlevel use cases technical requirements revenue and ROI
Analyze market data to develop sales strategies and define product objectives for effective marketing communications plans
Collaborate closely with production marketing and sales teams on the development QA and release of products and balance of resources to ensure success for the entire organization.
