Packaging Development Specialist – Beverages category
Job description Knowledge on foods category and specially for Hot fill / aseptic / retort or other filling technology for beverage products processing and packaging Interaction with brand on NPD’s. Understanding on Government law to use recycle packaging material. Should have knowledge on mould development and molding for beverage industries. Needs to know how to work out packaging costs and should have ability to communicate ideas and concepts to brand clearly and crisply. Interaction with vendors on development of samples, concepts. Testing of packaging as well as ability to apply different tests to new pack concepts. Analyze results and propose a way forward Should be able to work in a team and ability to advocate own ideas and get a buy in for the same in a cross functional team. Should have knowledge on testing of packaging as well as ability to apply different tests to new pack concepts. Ability to analyze results and propose a way forward. Ability to prepare Specifications and BOM for concepts /NPDs. Knowledge/previous experience of SAP interface an added advantage. Domain Knowledge: Knowledge of packaging process . Flexibles, Paper and paper board. Knowledge of materials used, test methods and procedures to be used. Clear idea of how packaging for any new product is proposed & selected. Qualification & Experience Post graduate diploma from IIP / CPET. Minimum 8-12 years in packaging development.
