Job description

Job Overview:
The Plant Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing all HR functions within the manufacturing plant. This includes recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, policy implementation, and ensuring compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:

Manage the recruitment and selection process, including interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of new employees.
Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and ensure the timely filling of vacancies.
Employee Relations and Engagement:

Foster a positive work environment and promote employee engagement and morale.
Address employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances, and provide guidance on resolutions.
Implement employee recognition programs to enhance employee satisfaction and motivation.
Training and Development:

Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
Coordinate employee development initiatives and succession planning to build a talent pipeline.
Monitor training effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to improve training programs.
Performance Management:

Oversee performance evaluation processes, performance appraisals, and goal setting.
Coach and guide managers on performance management best practices and provide assistance in managing underperforming employees.
Policy and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
Stay updated on changes in labor laws and recommend policy updates as needed.
Conduct investigations and maintain records related to disciplinary actions and grievances.
Health and Safety:

Collaborate with health and safety teams to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Implement safety programs and procedures to reduce workplace accidents and injuries.
Employee Benefits and Compensation:

Administer employee benefits programs, including healthcare, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
Assist in the development and implementation of competitive compensation structures and strategies.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
5+ years of experience in human resources management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Proficient in HR software and systems for record-keeping and reporting.
