Anzo Controls , a leading Robotics Automation company, is seeking a skilled Controls Engineer with expertise in PLC and SCADA systems. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of control systems for our cutting-edge robotic automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and implement control systems for robotic automation projects.
• Create detailed electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams.
• Proficient in programming and troubleshooting programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• Experience with leading PLC platforms such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or equivalent.
• Develop and configure Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
• Implement HMI (Human-Machine Interface) designs for effective monitoring and control.
• Collaborate with robotics engineers to integrate control systems seamlessly with robotic solutions.
• Ensure optimal communication between control systems and robotic components.
• Conduct thorough testing of control systems to ensure functionality and reliability.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
• Create comprehensive documentation for control system designs, programs, and configurations.
• Maintain accurate records of changes and updates to control systems.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers and software developers, to achieve project goals.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users when necessary.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
• Proven experience in PLC programming and SCADA development.
• Strong knowledge of industrial automation and control system design.
• Familiarity with robotic automation systems is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills:
• Proficiency in PLC programming languages such as ladder logic and structured text.
• Experience with HMI design and implementation.
• Familiarity with communication protocols such as Modbus, Ethernet/IP, etc.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in industrial automation.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and stay updated on industry trends.
