Job Title: Attendant - Laundry
Function: Laundry
Location: Lonavala
Primary Purpose
Is responsible for managing overall daily operations of the Laundry Room to deliver an excellent Guest experience while ensuring quality controls and guest inquiries.
Skills & Major Accountabilities Of Position (4-6 Major Accountabilities)- Should have good organisational and planning skills.
- Should have working knowledge of the operation and care of commercial washers and dryers.
- Should have knowledge of how to use chemicals and solvents correctly and safely.
- Should be accountable and spirited.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Should ensure or do daily cleaning of the laundry area.
- Handles all items received according to hotel policy and procedures by checking, marking and sorting all guests laundry.
- Should check and compare laundry counts i.e., guest count and hotel count must be identical, in case discrepancy should report to supervisor.
- Inspects clothing before dispatch and report to supervisor if any item found in pockets of guest or damages.
- Should do washing of hotel linen, ironing of uniforms and guest laundry.
- Ensures that guest laundry and pressing are collected and returned within due deadlines and as per standard process.
- Should checks carefully on the quality of guest items and the count before returning guest laundry.
- Should perform additional assignments as given by the management.
Work relations (context - main interfaces - functional report)
- Reports to Assistant Manager Laundry.
- Interfaces strongly with department head and laundry employees.
Key figures - provide key data of the job e.g. budget, number of reports etc

Experience And Qualifications Required For The Job Bachelor's degree/HS pass preferred (ideally in hospitality) with atleast 0-2 years of previous experience in good five star hotels. Should have worked in laundry as Assistant/supervisor Laundry.
Minimum Qualification: preferred Bachelor's degree or HS pass.
Minimum Job Experience: atleast 0-2 years
